The experience gap
Luxury guests rarely complain. They simply don’t come back. The difference between a good stay and a remembered one lives in details most venues never see from the inside.
Experience Intelligence gives you that outside view, with a commercial lens on every finding.
Promise and delivery
Your brand makes a promise. Every moment of service keeps it or breaks it.
Guests choose a luxury venue for what its brand promises: calm, care, exclusivity, attention. When the service they receive does not match that promise, the cost goes far beyond one bad review. It erodes trust, lowers what guests are willing to spend, and quietly sends your best clients elsewhere.
The promise
Effortless luxury
≠The experience
A fifteen-minute wait at check-in and a key card that doesn’t work.
The promise
Personal attention
≠The experience
Staff who still don’t know the guest’s name or preferences on day three.
The promise
A sanctuary of calm
≠The experience
Loud background music, rushed service and a terrace that feels like a canteen.
Experience Intelligence measures the distance between the two and shows you how to close it, so that what you promise and what you deliver become the same thing.
Why now, why Malta
Malta is moving from more visitors to better ones.
2025 was another record year, and the Malta Tourism Authority is now steering toward what the Deputy Prime Minister calls a “lower-impact, higher-value tourism model.” With Malta hosting the WTTC Global Summit in Valletta in October 2026 and public capital spending rising, venues are competing on the quality of the experience, not only on location.

Where the industry is heading · The Malta Chamber
Malta’s tourism priorities put the visitor experience at the centre.
The Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry’s recommendations for the sector call for measuring visitor satisfaction, digital transformation, a skilled workforce and careful destination stewardship. Experience Intelligence helps individual venues act on each of them.
Measuring the visitor experience
The recommendation is to incentivise an industry-driven Net Promoter Score (NPS), giving the sector a measurable basis for visitor satisfaction and the insight to respond quickly to emerging issues.
How we help
Our audit is built on the Net Promoter Score. It gives each venue its own measurable NPS baseline, explains what sits behind the score and shows which moments to fix first to turn guests into promoters.
Digital & innovation
Digital transformation is seen as essential to modernise the tourism ecosystem, improve efficiency and enhance the visitor experience, starting with a sectoral review of digital readiness and a focus on smart technologies, AI and data-driven decisions.
How we help
We assess where technology improves the guest journey and where it removes the human touch luxury guests pay for, so automation supports the experience instead of replacing it.
Workforce conditions & development
Building a skilled, resilient tourism workforce is named as a core priority for the sector.
How we help
Human Experience & Service training, led by Attune Yourself, develops presence, anticipation and personal service in your team.
Destination stewardship
Managing visitor flows and preserving natural and cultural assets should remain a priority, with mechanisms to monitor community sentiment and ensure balanced development.
How we help
We help venues grow value rather than volume: fewer friction points, higher spend per guest and experiences rooted in Malta’s culture and place.

Questions
Good to know
Will my staff know they are being audited?
No. The audit is carried out incognito so we see the real experience a guest receives. Findings are shared with management only.
What do I receive at the end?
A written report with your NPS-based score across all seven dimensions, and prioritised recommendations linked to revenue, average spend and the clientele you want to attract.
Why is the audit based on NPS?
The Net Promoter Score is the most widely used measure of guest loyalty, and it is the measure The Malta Chamber recommends for Malta’s tourism sector. Basing the audit on NPS gives you a clear number to track, benchmark and improve after every change.
Do you work outside Malta?
Yes. Malta is our home market, and we take international engagements. The self-guided checklist works for venues anywhere.
How are fees calculated?
Per single site, or per fleet for charters, based on your venue type and the package. Travel and related costs are billed separately.
